Dr. Huda Ahmed Yussuf is a Lecturer in Economics at the State University of Zanzibar with a PhD in Comparative Finance. Her research focuses on Islamic finance, trade, and entrepreneurship, with publications including a co-authored book by International Institute of Islamic Thought and contributions to volumes published by Springer. She previously served as Head of Department at Muslim University of Morogoro. Dr. Huda currently serves on the Shariah Board of YEMCO Islamic Microfinance and has held governance roles at Zanzibar Social Security Fund and other institutions, demonstrating strong academic leadership and institutional governance capacity.
