About
Zainab Ali Iddi is a Senior Lecturer in Linguistics at the School of Kiswahili and Foreign Languages. She holds a degree a Bachelor's Degree in Education from the State University of Zanzibar, Master's degree in Linguistics from the University of Dar es Salaam and PhD in Linguistic and Language Literature. Apart from teaching, she supervises research students at various level and has conducted research on Swahili languages and linguistics in general. Also, she served as head of Department of Kiswahili for Foreigners for six years. Currently. Dr Zainab is the chairperson of the Academic Staff Association at the State University of Zanzibar and Dean of School of Kiswahili and Forein Languages
