Mahfoudh Mohamed serves as an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Agricultural Extension and Community Development at the School of Agriculture, State University of Zanzibar (SUZA) in Tanzania. He possesses a Master of Science in Agricultural Economics from the University of Reading, United Kingdom, which he completed as a Commonwealth Master's Scholar, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics and Natural Resources Economics from the University of Dar es Salaam. His academic and research pursuits concentrate on agricultural economics, agribusiness, smallholder livelihoods, agricultural productivity, market access, food security, entrepreneurship, and sustainable economic development. At SUZA, Mr. Mohamed actively engages in teaching, student mentorship, community involvement, and initiatives related to agriculture and entrepreneurship. He has also contributed to research, training, and development programs that emphasize agricultural marketing, entrepreneurship, participatory research, and community impact.
