I am an Assistant Lecturer at the State University of Zanzibar (SUZA), with professional experience and academic interests in Agricultural Extension and Rural Development. I am passionate about teaching, research, and community engagement, with a strong interest in empowering farmers through knowledge, skills, and innovative agricultural practices. My professional interests include agricultural extension planning, farmer training and capacity building, livestock production and health, apiculture (beekeeping), agroecology, and sustainable agricultural development. I am also experienced in developing and facilitating farmer-oriented training on areas such as gender awareness, household budgeting, sanitation, nutrition, and agricultural practices. Since my goal is to bridge the gap between agricultural knowledge, research, and practical application among farmers and other agricultural stakeholders, I am committed to delivering quality teaching, conducting relevant research, supporting students in their academic development, and contributing to the advancement of agriculture and rural livelihoods in Zanzibar.
