I am an Agricultural Scientist, Agronomist, University Lecturer, and Researcher with professional experience in agriculture, agronomy, crop production, plant science, and sustainable agricultural systems. My academic and professional interests focus on improving crop productivity and resource-use efficiency through appropriate agronomic practices, practical agricultural training, applied research, and sustainable crop management approaches. My teaching and academic expertise encompasses agronomy, crop production, crop physiology, agricultural botany, weed management, soil fertility and plant nutrition, and sustainable agriculture. I have experience developing and delivering undergraduate lecture materials, practical sessions, field-based training, assessments, and practical examinations designed to connect theoretical knowledge with real-world agricultural applications. My research interests include sustainable crop production, weed management, crop nutrition, plant growth and development, integrated crop management, and the evaluation of agricultural technologies and practices for improving productivity and sustainability. I am particularly interested in research that generates practical solutions for farmers and contributes to evidence-based agricultural development. I also have a strong interest in field experimentation, agricultural extension, practical skills development, and capacity building, with emphasis on equipping students and agricultural practitioners with the knowledge and technical competencies required for effective crop production. My professional goal is to contribute to quality university education, impactful agricultural research, innovation, and sustainable agricultural development, while strengthening collaboration between universities, researchers, farmers, and other stakeholders in the agricultural sector.
