I am a Tanzanian academic and Senior Lecturer in Accounting and Finance at The State University of Zanzibar SUZA) with over two decades of leadership and teaching experience in higher education and government. I holds a PhD in Industrial Economics (Capital Market & Financial Engineering) from Wuhan University of Technology, an MSc in Finance from Strathclyde University, and a BBA from Zanzibar University. My former leadership roles include Dean of the School of Business at SUZA, as well as Chief Academic Officer and Acting Principal at the Zanzibar Institute of Financial Administration (ZIFA). An active researcher and consultant, I specializes in capital markets, economic growth, trade, and financial development. I have published over 18 peer-reviewed journal articles and UNDP policy briefs, alongside conducting strategic consultancies for organizations including the Zanzibar Revenue Authority, Zanzibar Electricity Corporation, and the Zanzibar Broadcasting Corporation. He possesses deep expertise in quantitative tools such as EViews, R, SPSS, and QuickBooks and serves on academic governance committees across the university
