A dedicated nursing educator, academician, researcher, and registered nurse with extensive experience in nursing education, clinical practice, teaching, student mentorship, and health sciences research. Holds an MSc in Nursing Education from the University of Dodoma, a BSc in Nursing from St. John’s University of Tanzania, an Advanced Diploma in Ophthalmic Nursing from KCMC Nursing Training Centre, and a Diploma in General Nursing with Psychiatry from the College of Health Sciences–Mbweni, Zanzibar. Currently serving as an Assistant Lecturer at the State University of Zanzibar (SUZA), with expertise in curriculum delivery, clinical teaching, student supervision and assessment, research methodology, academic writing, and evidence-based nursing practice. Previous experience as a Registered Nurse with the Ministry of Health, Zanzibar, provides a strong foundation combining academic knowledge with practical clinical experience. Professional interests include nursing and health sciences education, women’s health, cancer prevention and awareness, community health, and evidence-based practice. Skilled in teaching and facilitation, research and data analysis, academic supervision, clinical instruction, communication, teamwork, and the development of evidence-based health education interventions. Committed to strengthening nursing education, mentoring competent health professionals, and contributing to improved health outcomes through teaching, research, and professional practice.
