About
Dr. Ali I Adnan Dean, School of Continuing and Professional Education (SCOPE) Dr. Adnan is a Lecturer in Computer Networks and Wireless Communication at the Department of Computer Science and IT, School of Computing, Communication and Media Studies. He holds a PhD in Wireless Communication Networks and Security from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), a Master's degree in Informatics and Computer Engineering, and a Bachelor of Technology in Informatics and Computer Engineering from Vladimir State University, Russia. His research interests focus on security in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs), IoT, Edge and Cloud Computing, as well as the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Federated Learning to enhance enterprise security. He also serves as a reviewer for several international journals, with a number of publications in peer-reviewed outlets. Previously, he served as Dean of the School of Computing, Communication and Media Studies (SCCMs), where he led the school to distinction in academic innovation and research advancement.
